Why Are My Aquarium Plants Turning Brown Rust Like? Please Help?
I have a 50 gallon tank. i only have total 30 watts of flourecent light at the momment. i 've purchased a lighting strip which will have atleast 100 watts of flourecent light. i wont be getting it until 3 weeks :(.its been running for about 3 weeks now. im guessing its not fully cycled yet. i have some sword plants, moneywort, anubias, ferns in my tank. my ferns have like this brown rust type of line happening on the outer part of the leaves. my swords as well are doing that. my moneywort i can see growth in them cause they are taller but some leaves are turning brown and then getting mushy. my anubias seems to be fine. at the momment i have about 10 tetras in thank and 4 ghost shrimps. which are doing well. why are my plants turning brown? is it the lighting? what should i do? i 've read about co2, do i need to add that to my tank? i 've also read about how to make a home made way to inject co2 in the tank. but do i need that or not? if not at what point do i need co2 injected for the plants.i also have one more question about ferns. at the tip of each leaf there is like this long dark brown line type of thing growing from it about 2 or 3 from each leaf. it came like that from the store. it just kinda looks ugly to me and was wondering if i can cut it or what is that exactly.thanksplease help. i want to save the plants (Read answers)

Aquarium Under My Bed?
I really want to add another aquarium into my room, but don 't have enough space for the size i want. i thought of a great idea, and i 'm trying to conserve space.... so do you think this would work? what if i got like a 50 gallon aquarium and had it underneath a loft bed/ bunk bed. are there any safety reasons that i shouldn 't do this? and if i could convince my parents (tips please?), how could i make this work? would i buy a loft bed online and build it over my fish tank? could i build one? thanks. this would be my ultimate dream, as fish lover! sorry this is a weird question. :) (Read answers)
